Peter Patpatian began his real estate career in Los Angeles in 2012, helping clients navigate the path toward homeownership. Over the years, his experience in real estate sparked a deeper interest in the spaces themselves how homes are designed, how they function, and how thoughtful design can transform the way people live. That curiosity ultimately led him into the world of architectural design and development.
Creativity has always been at the center of Peter’s approach. As children, we build without limitations turning Legos, Play-Doh, and even sofa cushions into whatever we can imagine. Peter carried that same creative mindset into his professional career, combining imagination with the technical knowledge and practical experience required to turn ideas into real spaces.
While attending Woodbury University’s graduate architecture program, Peter continued developing the vision that would eventually shape Apex Design & Associates. His education encouraged him to challenge conventional approaches to design, explore new possibilities, and think beyond the drawings themselves. After gaining professional experience in the field, he recognized an opportunity to create a design company centered around something simple: making the design and development process easier for clients to navigate.
Today, as CEO of Apex Design & Associates, Peter brings together his background in real estate, architectural design, and development to provide clients with a more comprehensive experience. His goal is to guide each project from the earliest concept through design, coordination, permitting, and ultimately toward construction giving clients a knowledgeable team they can rely on throughout the process.
What began as a passion for creating has evolved into a career dedicated to helping others transform their ideas into thoughtfully designed spaces.

His experience includes coordinating construction teams, managing budgets and project schedules, and helping ensure that each stage of a project progresses efficiently. This background gives Todd a valuable perspective at Apex Design & Associates, allowing him to approach design decisions with an understanding of real-world construction requirements, costs, and execution.
Todd’s organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to coordinate the many moving parts of a project play an important role in the firm’s approach. Working alongside the design team, he helps bridge the gap between creative ideas and practical implementation.
